Food was very good. Service was great. Nice experience would definitely go back. Ambiance was good bar vibe. Missed the band but would definitely come back

We had our daughter's wedding after-party at The Barn and it was awesome! Mel (the coordinator) was extremely helpful, accommodating, responsive, organized and very nice. The wedding was at Crossed Keys Estates on Sunday, October 20th and ended at 10:30 pm. The after-party ran from 11:00 pm - 2:00 am. Our guests were not only happy for the open bar we opted for but for the delicious snacks (pretzel bites, quesadillas, pizzas, boneless chicken wings...) waiting for them when they arrived. We were able to order more food as needed which was great because the food was served hot. The bartenders, wait staff and manager were wonderful keeping our 65 guests (mostly staying across the street at The Fairfield Inn - very convenient!) happy! Everyone had a wonderful time especially the bride and groom who were happy to extend their celebration by three more hours at a pretty venue with great music, food, drinks and people. We would highly recommend hosting an event at The Barn! P.S.: My husband and I went back a few weeks later to see the band The Nerds and were greeted by Mel and Frank (the owner) which was very nice. We had dinner there before the band came on and found it to be delicious. My husband had the carnitas and I had the french dip. Although it is about a 45 minute drive for us, we plan on going back to The Barn for other events they have.

Heard there's new ownership. I eat here 2x per week usually after work around 10pm. Yea service could be quicker but otherwise food is good. They have good selection of beers unlike Applebee's which doesn't have any Irish beers... Good selection of sports on the tellies. Wasn't crowded anytime I went....

The owners and management are very friendly. The food is good, the music was fun to dance to. It's a comfy feel good place.

The staff gets four stars, but the food only got three in my opinion. I had the shrimp tacos. I liked the minced jalapeño or Serano peppers in the guacamole. It gave it a nice heat, but not too much, and the sauce was pretty good as well, but the thing that bothered me was the shrimp were so salty. It's a shame because the rest of it was really nicely put together.

Tried a shake and the milk and cookies dessert off the new menu and I think the pictures do justice! So so good, definitely both a shareable size. Not only was the dessert fabulous but our apps and entrees were out of this world as well! We had the chicken vodka parm fries, vodka pepperoni pizza, and chicken tacos of course, all amazing. New owner, management and staff always so friendly and attentive to customers needs. One of the best things about this business, no matter how busy or what day it is the food always comes out fresh, hot and prompt. The Rockaway River Barn is quality and quantity! Also during the week they always have some form of entertainment, live music, DJ, bingo, trivia. Me and my husband went for a Monday night dinner and played bingo with our dessert together, so cute and a great way for us to spend quality time together at a great place!

GREAT bar, restaurant. We were there to see a band so didn't sit and enjoy the ambiance much. However food looked amazing going by and the drinks were on point. Would DEFINITELY like to sit and enjoy a meal here, really nice outdoor area that must be awesome in the warmer weather!

The Barn in Rockaway is a nice themed restaurant with an extensive menu and a sports bar feel. The service was good, and I was surprised by how reasonable the prices were visiting from Phoenix. I had a ahi tuna burger and it was cooked perfectly. The tots were also very good, however sweet potato fries seem to be the house specialty. My father had fish and chips, and while the portions are smaller than what I am used to, it looked very good over all. They have a full menu and plenty of televisions for sports. I had come here a long time ago when it was still Damon's and it was nice to see the site is doing so well with The Barn.
